Have you heard the good news? While September means “Back to School” for most, it marks the end of a busy summer and a stream of new award nominations for Lorg Media! Keep reading to find out more about what we’ve been nominated for this Autumn.
Best Small Agency
The Digital Media Awards, for which we are finalists in two award categories, takes place on 6 September in Dublin’s Clayton Hotel. Lorg Media is in the running for “Best Small Agency” alongside many other class acts. We are delighted to see our westend neighbours Adhere Digital nominated in the same category. Let’s hope that Galway brings home the gold this time!
Best Integrated Media Strategy
Lorg Media has been named in the Best Integrated Media Strategy category of the Digital Media Awards for our work on Creidim Ionat. Creidim Ionat (meaning ‘I believe in you’) is a campaign by Foras na Gaeilge in collaboration with RTÉ. The campaign followed community groups, influencers and their mentors as they worked together to achieve their Irish language goals while encouraging the public to take the next step on their Irish language journeys.
The Best Integrated Media Strategy award celebrates marketing campaigns that employ both traditional media and new media channels, demonstrating best practice, innovation and excellence in promoting, advertising, communicating or marketing a brand, product or service.
We are honoured to bring an Irish-language marketing campaign to the mix and so proud of the recognition our native tongue has received. Gaillimh le Gaeilge has also been named in the Best Native Campaign category, so Irish-speaking Galwegians will be well-represented on the night!
The Marketing and Social Media Award
Congratulations to our friends at Foras na Gaeilge whose Creidim Ionat campaign has been named in the Marketing and Social Media Award category of the Ireland eGovernment Awards!
The Ireland eGovernment Awards, taking place in Dublin on 19 September, recognise and celebrate the pioneers in digital government who have revolutionised how the public interacts with the government on a local and national level.
We are immensely proud to see Foras na Gaeilge, the body responsible for the promotion of Irish across the island of Ireland, named as a finalist alongside other talented organisations like Fáilte Ireland and RTÉ.
Gaillimh Abú!
The results draw near for Lorg Media! From its founding in 2011 with just one employee to a talented team of 7 in 2024, our small agency continues to impress the judges. Are you keen to find out who wins the awards? Follow us on socials to stay up to date!
