Creidim Ionat (I Believe in You)

Creidim Ionat was a mentor/mentee led campaign for our client Foras na Gaeilge. It saw thousands of people taking their next step on their Irish language journey. We teamed up with RTÉ to amplify the reach of this fun and engaging campaign. 

Pick a partner and set a goal was the main call to action. Our mentors were Beo ar Éigean hosts Áine Ní Bhreisleáin, Sinéad Ní Uallacháin and Siún Ní Dhuinn. They supported Michael Fry, Marty Morrissey and Marissa Carter with their Irish language goals.

Key Objectives

  • Promote Foras na Gaeilge as the body responsible for Irish in a new and engaging way.
  • Shine a light on all of the Irish language resources and events available.
  • Drive traffic to the website, sign-ups to the newsletter and promote online engagement with Creidim Ionat.

What We Did

Creidim Ionat was a video content rich campaign, with bilingually subtitles. Content included producing a television promo, a radio advert, outdoor advertising, podcasts, blogs, newly commissioned GIPHYs, and a weekly newsletter. On air integration with RTÉ on both radio and TV, an interactive website, and a targeted digital advertising campaign helped make this campaign a success. 

We teamed up with various groups to run competitions on social media, with a stay in pods on the Aran Islands in the mix.  Also we reached out to over 100 relevant influencers and sent them merch including specially commissioned Creidim Ionat Betty & Biddy necklaces to share online. 

Foras na Gaeilge tapped into a a whole new audience of Irish language speakers as people engaged with Creidim Ionat across the globe. They set fun goals such as playing a game of ‘Guess Who’ and going on a date as Gaeilge. 

Results 83 million impressions 105% increase in email subscribers 84 countries visited the website 70% of all adults saw/heard the promo
