dotMD is a festival of curiosity for doctors and healthcare practitioners looking for more from medicine. It aims to reawaken a sense of wonder and curiosity about medicine that some may have lost along the way – and help them find deeper meaning and satisfaction in their working lives.
The event took place in the University of Galway and Lorg Media were on hand to promote the event in advance, using a targeted campaign to medical professionals, as well as creating quick-turnaround footage and live comms on the day of the event.

What We Did
In the lead up to the conference ran a targeted digital advertising campaign. We then used content from the conference to run a high-intent lead campaign which included retargeting, resulting in a list of high-quality email sign-ups.
During the event itself, we built on the success of dotMD19 and including the relevant social media trends of 2021 we developed a content creation strategy for video content on-location during the conference. Examples of content created on location that performed well included one- word videos, interview style videos – ‘how does dotMD make you feel’ etc., video snippets of speakers on stage, stylised Instagram Stories and Tweets using dotMD brand, and highlights Reels of each day capturing atmosphere and speakers.
